Under my leadership at the National Organization for Business & Engineering, I initiated a consulting wing to the activities of the organization.
Creating the framework was certainly something challenging given the application process, securing a client as well as funding. We took in ten Industrial Engineering students to undergo a process improvement consultancy project with Greenway Logistics.
I was the Chief Consultant overseeing three teams of Technology, Logistics and Sales. The following semesters, I appointed members to take on the lead of the consulting initiative working on projects with local business in State College, Pennsylvania.
Moving forward, I believe it is essential to spread our consulting culture on campus and build a strong framework for NOBE’s consulting practice.
