The National Organization for Business and Engineering (NOBE) is a national student organization closing the gap between Business and Engineering. It’s a national society uniting business, management and engineering organizations from universities coast to coast. I am currently leading the Penn State University Park chapter of NOBE.
Under my leadership, the Penn State chapter of NOBE expanded and diversified on the University Park Campus. The group was able to gain national presence by hosting its first NOBE National Conference at Penn State. My strong passion in exploring the opportunities that lie in the gap between business and engineering allowed me to be very active in establishing consulting initiatives for NOBE at Penn State. This has successfully allowed students on campus to work with local businesses on process improvement projects and discover real world applications in both business and engineering disciplines.
Our consulting initiatives as well as case competitions emphasize the importance of having real world problems for students to examine.
